Castiarina perlonga  Distinctive features

Elytra with their pattern dominated by the longitudinal sutural mark.

Notes

Barker 2006a notes that this species is found in low rainfall areas and has been collected on Leptospermum and Melaleuca flowers. Most of the SA collections are from areas of sandy soils where the Mallee Tea-tree Leptospermum coriaceum occurs.
