Diphucrania scabiosa  Distinctive features

Similar to D. aenigma, but larger and more elongate and the elytra have smaller and more numerous irregular white hair-scale patches and reddish margins in their posterior quarters. Head, pronotum and scutellum copper in females, green in males.

Notes

This species is allied to D. aenigma. It is an eastern species with a disjunct and very small localised occurrence in SA.
