Somewhat similar in appearance to Agrilus hypoleucus but shorter and broader; elytra with the vittae of whitish hairs continuous and very wide in their anterior towards the humeral margin.
This species described by Curletti 2001 has hitherto only been known in SA by a Paratype specimen from Joanna (SSE of Naracoorte) in the SE Region.

Curletti 2001 reports species of Allocasuarina and Leptospermum as larval hosts and Allocasuarina and Acacia as adult hosts.
