Bubastes deserta  Distinctive features

Orangey-bronze with small areas of green; pronotum with prominent pre-scutellar pit which is deep and elongate; elytra with conspicuous carinae.


Known only from early collections. The holotype was collected at Oodnadatta in 1931-32, and Bílý & Hanlon 2020 also cite an allotype from 'S. Australia' and a paratype from 'Australia'.
