Castiarina arida  Distinctive features

Allied to C. distinguenda but larger and with a bulbous pronotum and heavier elytral fasciae.

Notes

Reported for SA by Barker 2006a from "Brookfield Conservation Park, Blanchetown", however, there are no specimens of this species in the SA Museum. Otherwise known from the type series designated simply as from Victoria, and a number of specimens from Sofala in inland eastern NSW.
