In SA adults of this species have mostly been collected on flowering bushes of various subspecies of Desert Senna Senna artemisioides, and on Wattles Acacia spp. to a lesser extent. Barker 2006a records it also from the flowers of Broombush Melaleuca uncinata which notably has flowers of a yellowish colour.
