Elytra background orange; ventral side deep orange.

Notes

The species epithet 'aurantia' is from the Latin aurantium for orange, and the deep orange underside is diagnostic for this species.

In WA this species has been collected from both Eremophila and Myrtaceae flowers, viz. Thryptomene and Scholtzia, (Barker 1990).
