Castiarina clancula  Distinctive features

Elytra orange with well-developed pattern of dark fasciae and vittae.

Notes

Barker 2006a separates Castiarina clancula from C. ignea in his key by the orange vs yellow elytral background colour. Forms with reduced elytral markings and a more reddish pronotum appear to approach C. ignea and the two species may intergrade.
