Notes

This species is mostly restricted to coastal habitat where its adult (and probable larval) host plant grows; both the beetle and its host are widely distributed in southern Australia

Host plant notes

The SA adult host records are largely confined to the Common or Coastal Boobialla Myoporum insulare, but there are two SA Museum collections made at St Agnes on the NE side of Adelaide in 1972 from a related species, M. petiolatum.
