According to Bellamy 1988 resembles D. thoracica but differs in a having the frontoclypeal plate with a more angular and truncate emargination, and the female pygidium (terminal abdominal ventrite) broader, less strongly tapered, and with an emarginate apex.

Notes

This species was originally described by Obenberger in 1943 and transferred to Dinocephalia by Bellamy 1988. It is only known from a single early collection, the Holotype, which has the general location 'South Australia'.
