Head and pronotum red-coppery (with green reflections/iridescence); elytra straight-sided, dark blue; ventral side coppery-and purplish.
Described by Carter 1937 based on three specimens from Wurarga in the arid zone of western WA. The SA occurrence is based on two specimens matching Carter's description that were collected near Oodnadatta in 1996 from Eucalyptus flowers.
