Plant description
Shrub to 2 m high. Leaves alternate, scattered; lamina elliptic or linear or obovate, 3–25 mm long, 1–6.5 mm wide. Capitula terminal, solitary, sessile or almost so, 13–37 mm wide. Ray florets 8–25, white, disc florets 14–49, pale yellow. Flowering June - September. Fruits are achenes silky; pappus with 39–65 bristles in 1–2 series
