Agrilus kangaroo  Distinctive features

Bronze-coloured; pre-marginal carinula absent. Similar to Agrilus aurovittatus, but larger, with pubescence on sterna, frons and entire elytral surface; has a more globular and narrow pronotum which is depressed on the sides, and legs with hind tarsus about as long as the hind tibia. Males have a very distinctive aedeagus with the parameres laterally expanded.

Notes

Described by Curletti 2001 who cited two SA paratype collections: one from southwest of Scrubby Peak in the Gawler Ranges, the other from Balgowan on northern Yorke Peninsula.
