Notes

Only known in SA from two early collections, one labelled 'Adelaide', the other 'Black Swamp'. The latter was collected on 1 Jan 1864 by S.W.White who also collected 12 other SA Castiarina species there in 1863 and 1864. It is taken to refer to Black Swamp near Currency Creek, since S.W.White is known to have made ornithological collecting trips along the Murray River in 1863 and 1865.
