Related to C. hilaris from eastern Australia and hitherto only known from the type series that Barker collected on flowers of Sweet Bursaria Bursaria spinosa near Melrose in the southern Flinders Ranges (Barker 1986). I found a single individual (illustrated here) on the same host further south at Telowie Gorge.
