Temognatha fusca  Distinctive features

A fairly uniform, somewhat milky, brown colouration; irregularly sculpted pronotum; dense grey-white hairs around the pronotum margins, and on the head and underside.

Notes

Temognatha fusca was formerly known as Temognatha parryi. It is widespread but relatively uncommon and has a long active period from October to March. Tepper 1887 reported it from Ardrossan on Yorke Peninsula, noting that it was 'rather rare, and flies already in November'.
