The purported occurrence of Temognatha reichei in SA is based on a collection at SA Museum with the general location 'South Australia', and also the Holotype of Stigmodera marmorea Blackburn, 1890, which is regarded as a synonym of this species. Another collection, previously attributed to Hill River in the NL region of SA, was most likely collected at the WA locality of the same name.
