Host plant notes

In SA, N. dichroa has been found on a wide range of hosts, including at least nine Eucalypt species. A series of nine specimens collected as part of a pollination study in Flinders Chase National Park are labelled as being from Eucalyptus porosa, a species not native to the area and unlikely to have been planted there. This is presumed to refer to E. albopurpurea, a related Eucalypt which is from the same section of the genus and of similar appearance.
